Lace Rounding Machine
This machine is used to manufacture round lace from rectangular lace. The machine uses precision
guiding wheels, adjustable in all directions, and a high precision rotative device used to cut the strap into
it's round shape. The machine also utilizes an industrial vacuum cleaner with silencer to keep a clean work
environment. The lace is driven by a speed variable AC motor, which allows for cutting speeds of 10 to 30
meters/minute. At the end of the process the round lace is automatically transported to a basket.
Standard cutting diameters are 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, & 5 mm.

This machine is used specially for making round lace out of fine leathers such as goat skins, kip (vachetta),
calf and others. The machine can produce up to 1500 meters/hour of lace in diameters from 1 mm to 2.5 mm.
Due to the fact that the round shape is acquired by rolling the material and not cutting, the thin straps
remain very strong. It is best to color the leather before you cut it to obtain the best results.
